My name is Miranda Steward and I’m thrilled to be teaching 1st grade at St. Mary School! I’m a Charlotte native, graduating from CHS in 2014 and dreaming my entire life of teaching in my hometown. I completed my undergrad at Central Michigan University, earning my B.S. in Education with endorsements in Reading and Early Childhood Education. 

I thought I had my life all figured out when I was hired to teach at a local elementary school right out of college, but God had other plans for me and ultimately led me to join the Lalanne program in 2020 and teach at St. Mary School. I’m currently working toward my Masters from the University of Dayton, pursuing a degree called Teacher as Leader with a concentration in Literacy.
