Is it time to start thinking about sending your child to school? St. Mary School would like to work with you in fostering a positive and loving transition into the educational system. We will be holding an information night for parents with children who are ready to enter into Preschool or Kindergarten on March 20, 2019 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. We are also hosting our annual Pasta Dinner the same night from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Please join us for a plate of pasta and information as we partner with you and your family in this exciting new adventure in education.
Pasta Dinner Take 2! On Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 5 to 7pm, come enjoy a Pasta Dinner by Italian Chef, Dan Riedy of Riedy’s Pizza at St. Mary Family Life Center in Charlotte. All of our families, the public and all St. Mary Alumni are invited to come visit with new and old friends. New prospective families taking a tour of the on-site Childcare, Preschool, Developmental Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through middle school classrooms will receive a FREE pasta dinner. Adult tickets are $8, children ages 5 to 12 are $6, adult seniors are only $5 and children under 4 are free. During the open house, St. Mary School will also Re-Open Early Registration for the 2019 - 2020 school year. Each family will receive a $100.00 credit toward next year’s tuition by signing up on March 20, 2019. This year it is extremely important that everyone signs up during early registration as one of our classrooms has already reached waiting list status. As soon as a class reaches capacity a waiting list will be established. Our hearts are full of joy as the school continues to grow, but as we reach capacity, we want to ensure our current families secure their children’s seats for next year. This year we will continue with the silent auction and raffle during the dinner. Each classroom will create a master piece that will be placed in the silent auction. Families will be able to buy raffle tickets for fun activities that will take place later in the school year. One of the students favorites is throwing a pie in the principal’s face! We missed the opportunity to throw the pies in our staff member’s faces last year so we will be throwing pies the night of the dinner! All proceeds from this event go directly toward the funding of our Catholic School. Matt Bruch and Celena Bruch have coordinated this event in the past. As their children continue to grow, they are looking for parents who are interested in shadowing them this year. Please contact the school office if you are interested in taking a leadership role with the Pasta Dinner.
